I just got back from my pet store and ive been told i can keep male and female VT's together without to much trouble from breeding, i dont have the time to breed unfortunately so a friend suggested a divided tank??

Can i remove the divider or will i be forever dealing with masses of fry?

how big is the tank they will be together in and will it have lots of hideing places for the female.
from the past i found keeping any males with females the male always beats the girlys up

abit to small she'll probably take a beating.

I doubt you'll get fry/eggs if it's a community tank. Not that this is unheard of mind you.

I always try things for myself when it's hit or miss. You never know it might be ok.

We had two girls and a guy live together for about a year. Only thing that upset them was a move from london to bristol. Go figure......

well i might try it but get another girly to keep the peace and see what happens :fun: , if it doesn't work ill have to get another tank :hyper:

one other thing though at the minute the tanks just bettas i know its to small but if i had a bigger tank could i keep neons or harlequins with them lfs recomended it but im not so sure?
