Hi, im thinking about buying 2 of these Seio 620 for my 90gal. Just wondering if there good. On the Seio site it says that it has a 600gph output for each.

Im also thinking about buying this Coralife Super Protein Skimmer to put in my sump. I know there are obviously better skimmers but you would probably have to pay a pretty penny for them. I was just wondering if this one is any good?

the seios are very good and i am buying a pair in a couple of weeks but i cant say with the skimmer.

Yeah the seios look good and the ones on JLaquatics are pretty cheap too. So yeah im going to probably get thoses...now im just wondering about the skimmer...hoping you guys will give some positive feed back on it.

1500 for a 90. Smaller and it wont reach the other side. SEIO is a decent way to go for high flow low pressure. We usually suplement 1 1500 with some maxi 900s or use two 1500 and point them toward each other. Certianly 33x flow will not be too much for most critters. Realistically when you point them at each other, for random flow, you will be getting much less than 33x 620 would be nice for a 20g. Actually I used the next pump up 850? and that was not sufficient for 4' of tank.

Corlife typically are not favored. Do you have access to ASM? They are a cheaper material version of ER. Functionally, they should be the same.

Yeah, that coralife skimmer is not the best. ASM makes great ones, Euroreef(ER), and AquaC also make good skimmers. Deltec is another great skimmer company, but prices on this side of the pond are exhorbinantly high
