Can I seed my newly set up 700 ltr aquarium with media from my koi pond

Yes, as long as your pond is healthy. Give it a goodish wash (in some pond water) to get any creepy crawlies out though!

Thanks ... Would the warmer water not kill the bacteria

warmer water will help the bacteria multiply faster ((apparently))

The warm water won't kill them, no. There'll be a mixture of different families of nitrifying bacteria, some of which will prefer warmer temperatures, and they'll soon multiply.

Will dig out a load of media from koi pond and put it in my sump tank tomorrow ......... Just want it to hurry up so I can get some fish in there /
