Second Hand Juwel 60 - Filter & Heater?

I have just bought a second hand juwel 60, (just starting out!, its my first tank!!)...

It has had the Internal filter & heater taken out.

Was just wondering what filter you guys think a newbie like myself should start with & also are the internal lights enough to heat the tank to the correct temperature...

Any advice greatly appreciated!

I forgot to add the tank is currently running at about 73 degrees.....

what about at night.

you need a heater, it'll only come one when it gets below the temp you set on it, something like a visitherm will cost you about £15 for a 100watt.

Internal lights dont heat the water at all, you need a heater. As for the filter do you want internal or external?

Im looking at getting a small internal filter... Not too sure which fish i will keep yet though!...

It is the right kind of spec for my size tank, and quite reasonable price?.

The 100w version should be more than adequate. you still need to decide on a filter though

Id get a canister filter along with a HOB.

Since its only a 60 Litre tank, i think a small canister would be more than adequate

Ive gone for the 100 watt version of the heater, but still undecided on the internal filter!!....
