I have just finished watching a documentary called 'Seaspiracy' on Netflix.

I highly recommend every one to watch it. A fairly strong stomach is required!

It's a highly educational and thought provoking documentary.

For those that have seen it, will fish be on your shopping list in the future?

I ended up watching the second half of this last night, as my wife was already in bed watching it...
Very eye-opening...

We've decided to see what alternatives we can get w.r.t. fish on the menu, even though we love fish for dinner.

We Googled the company who were advocating the "plant based shrimp", but found that they a) don't sell online, and b) only sell to restauranteurs. Seems a bit crazy considering the past year where restaurants have been closed down for most of it, and everyones been cooking for themselves at home... They should have really figured out some way of shipping their products to the home.
Anyone who's watched this and decided to look into the plant based sea foods managed to find sources for the alternatives?

I was in shock after watching it this evening. My girlfriend and I didn't talk for a good half an hour afterwards.

We aren't big seafood eaters. Just the odd cod fillet or tuna steak, but we've decided to cut fish out of our diets completely now. I didn't realise how 'dirty' the fish we're eating is!

I would put cats and children on my shopping list if the supermarkets stocked them, so fish are a no brainer
