Search Problem

Since the change in structure of the fora, I am no longer able to carry out searches. When I use the keyword feature, it always says there are no results, and when I type in the name of the author, it sends me to the help files.

Is this a configuration problem on my side, or is it on your side? Thanks.

Click on the forum bar, it should be beside the members are help files.

Thanks Micko, but the problem is not so much that I can't use the search feature, but the fact that I never get results although I know they are there....

Plus, I am supposed to be able to choose in which fora to search for, but that isn't an option in the general search feature. I assume it works though when you are in the forum itself and you go all the way down and type in a search word there?

You can search the forum you're on or across them all. Is that what you mean?

Interesting, your view is completely different from mine. I don't have the options on the search that you do....

I don't know how you included that picture, but I have at the same row as tropical fish forums and general rules on the right hand side about 8 topics including the search but as a block, not as an open space where you can write into.

Right down at the bottom left of the page you can change the layout, mine is on TFF Blue, is yours?

Why don't you just google it with the 'site' modifier?

If you want to search for all posts about discus just type in:


Discus site:fishforums.net

Ok, mine is on IP. Board Classic Blue import. I will change it and see if it works better.
