Seachem/caribsea Banned From Ebay And Amazon Uk?

Didn't know charterhouse sold it - will remember that. Went to AE because I knew they sold it. I'm running very low! Should've stocked up when the rest of you did! I even thought at the time "I should buy some, I'm running a bit low" and then forgot all about it LOL

I don't use Prime, never have and I probably never will. The only pro that would benefit me is the doseage and how a little goes a long way. I have only ever used stress coat, since I started. Recently, it's been turning my water white and cloudy (unless it's the ferts? I really can't decide) for a few hours after a water change. Strange! I may soon be taking back that comment about using Prime if it's still available in the UK for a good price after I've used my all my stress coat!

I don't use any water conditioner or anything. Just normal tap water straight from my hosepipe to fill the tank. Iv never had any problems and iv even got fry!

no conditioner? crazy!

i have used loads of different products as im tight and just buy whatever is cheap when i go on to LFS! will be investing in prime later today to be honest. heard too much good about it to not use it!

So I know theres problems getting this online at the moment, on ebay especially, bit i've just been to my lfs an they are even having problems getting it.

Anyone know whats really going on here?

I got a bottle from aquacadabra think it was £17 all in for 500ml

Its still available, just not at the good prices we enjoyed on Ebay before. All to do with import stuff, there was thread on here a while ago about it, ill have a look.

Tom

There is, I'll combine this one with that one. Apologies to anyone else if the thread looks a little odd. :good:

Sorry for making a new topic on it but I just wondered why my lfs had stopped stocking it too. Just wodering if there was further news on it... Seeing as the first post relates to amazon and ebay business rather than fish shops

I missed this thread so went to ebay as I normally do to get my prime from aquacadabra through ebay, as postage was included, i messaged them and they confirmed they are not allowed to list it on ebay anymore nor is anyone else. oh well looks like good deals on ebay will come to an end if this is the way the supply companies are going to go. I see ebay USA are allowed to list seachem products though, seems its just effecting the UK.

Has anyone bought from the states and had it delivered to the UK? whats the postage like.

I go florida twice a year so could pick some up, but doubt I would allow it to bring it home because of it being a fluid, and im not tasting the stuff to proove its harmless.

fluid is ok in your suitcase, just not hand luggage

only downside is it hammers your allowance on weight!!

Dan it's still available to order in the UK just from other online retailers to eBay and Amazon. Do a google shopping search and you'll find a couple of places selling it :) yeah it's a little more expensive than you got on eBay but still bearable!

I think I may just buy a tub of thiosulphate. Probably work out easier and cheaper in the long run.

Anyone reckon there's room on the market for discount brand aquarium chemicals like this? It can't be sane that these simple chemicals cost so much.
