Sea Water

Hey Guys,

Just wondering if i will be able to use ocean water while im cycling my tank, or even afterwards. (i live on the gold coast in australia and regularly take my boat out deep sea fishing. The water is crystal clear out there.

Generally I wouldn't recommend it, as there is no telling what else may be in the water from sewer waste pipes etc. Aside from that, you may introduce a whole range of parasites and pathogens into the tank which may cause you no end of problems in the future.
