Pretty much.

Not risking gouramis with the shrimp. If someone offers me some more harlequins I might take them, but I'm not actively looking for them.

I may add some different types of shrimp, undecided about that yet :)

If I put a background on it'll be plain white, just to cover up the wires.

No idea...

Looking forward to seeing it with white. Everybody just seems to use black (me included) so something different will be good. The one on this months PFK uses pink! :good:

i personally think you should put that little toy cow in thats next to the bucket in the bucket of mud picture, or send it to me so i can put it in cause its well cute.

Haha, it's a Little People goat actually, and I could... but it wouldn't sink unless I attached it to something, and then Becca would sulk! Lol

love it Caz...really well done, the pics are loads better :good: I would also leave it backgroundless, tanks look more natural without a background. Just one observation...you could do with more Crypts around the base of the wood.

yes I could, they were quite thick, but I must've easily lost 50% due to melting! they've started regrowing now though :good:

Siobhan is sending me some egeria to help with plant mass until man-wife says I'm allowed to buy more plants. Can't decide whether to use the java fern I have, or splash out on needle or windelov?

oh no, don't put that in! I'll send you some plants...there's one plant i really don't like (not that it's my tank!), alongside moss balls.

I was only going to float it until I could buy different, and then throw it or pass it on! Not keep it! And I hate moss balls too  although I have to admit I can tolerate it if its growing on wood or rock rather than just sitting on the floor of the tank...

On a side note, should I wait for the java fern plantlets to fall off or remove them myself? Think I know the answer but just checking....

just remove them :good: they'll just drop off when you run you fingers over them.

K I added moss to 4 more branches of the top bit of wood, removed 12 java fern plantlets from the mother leaves and have attached 8 of them to the main body of the top piece of wood. The other 4 are floating until I can find my superglue (had it yesterday!) then they'll be getting glued to the bottom piece of wood, as will some moss on the back branch that sticks up. However, to do that I'll have to drain the tank cuz I can't move the wood.

Love the scape Caz, aint been on for a while but so much has happened, really like the wood and gradient of substrate.
