Sd, Hm, Or Ohm?

Ok I bought this guy and he was advertised as a super delta. When I posted pics of him on another forum people said he was a OHM, but I'm not sure. So what do u guy think he is SD, HM, or OHM?? thanks!

i'm no expert, but i'd say he's an SD. it doesn't look like those outer rays make a 180 degree angle to me, but they do flare out at the ends and that is probably what is throwing people off.

hm deffinately not ohm but possibly sd tho because the angle of the tail seems like one with heavy finnage

SD. Some of the rays aren't straight, the inner edges have to be absolutely straight and exactly the same length as all the other rays in the tail to be a HM. A LOT of people lable a fish OHM or HM because so many betta buyers don't know what the qualifications are. He's probably got HM genes though and is gorgeous anyway you look at him.

What I want to know is is that a female behind him in picture 2--she's kind of greyish, has a HUGE bulge)?

yeah they're in the breeding tank. She's not greyish just had super distinct breeding bars, and its not a bulge shes just super eggy!
