Scrape On Sivlerdollar

OK today I saw this scrape on my silverdollars head.I do have many rocks that he likes to hide in and I think he might have scraped his head on them but I was wondering if this could hurt him or not and how to fix it?

Does the wound look infected.
Sometimes you can just dab the wound with melafix or methylene blue to stop the wound getting infected.
Or just half dose some melafix as not all fish can handle full dose.

it looks sorta bad because the wound is white

Add the melafix or wrap the fish in a cloth soaked in tank water and dab the wound with melafix or methylene blue.

I would just add the melafix to the water, removing the fish is totally unecessary and will only stress the fish.

thing is some tank mates cant handle melifix,
so if his buddys would get sick for it,
a singluar, fish outa water paint the meds on might be a safer way to treat for the total tank.

ok so take him out of water and dab the melafix on the wound?

Its up to you but it better than stressing a whole tank out with the melafix.
