Scottish Water quality

Hi, This is one for Macquatic. As i have previously mentioned, I am moving to Elgin in a weeks time, i am in Oxford at the moment, and the water is hard, with a lot of limescale present, especially in the kettle What is the water like in the Elgin morayshire area? Cheers.

If it's like America, call up the water company and ask for their chlorine level and ph level. I always do that when I'm cleaning someone's tank and using tap water.
