I bet her house doesn't smell. Look how clean and well looked after those piggies are. The only reason they would smell would be if their cages weren't cleaned regularly or properly.

Guinea pigs don't smell bad IME! We used to keep them in the spare bedroom in the winter when I was a child. All I remember smelling was the hay, which smelt nice. Very nice pics, they look very cute. :)

Awesome pics! Reminds me of the time that I had a guinea pig. He was lovely.

And if you dont mind me asking, what is the creature in the second picture?? :X

That thing is Capy, a hairless guinea pig, they are called Skinnys. She is around 4months old.

Oh, by the way, my flat does not smell horrible, the guinea pigs are cleaned out reqular, the only problem you have with smell is when they aren't kept clean or are kept in the wrong types of cages, ie. fish tanks, the condensation builds up in them and the woodshavings sweat the urine and its strong. I have rescued a couple of piggies from this situation a few years ago. Poor hygiene in the only reason piggies or any animal would stink and that is not because of the animals, thats the owner not giving them proper sanitation.

Some of my piggies live in this cage...

Those cages look brilliant! I absolutely love your little piggies, they are so cute and their fur is so shiny. You can see just by their fur how well you look after them, you must spend a lot of time on them? I agree with you, the only way any small animal like that will smell is because they are not cleaned out regularly and properly.

Do you have trouble deciding which ones to cuddle. They are all so cute I wouldn't know which one to cuddle first!

I try and give everyone cuddles but like us some dont like cuddles as much as others. The most time I spend with is Capy, with her living on her own and being so young, I try and keep her socialised with the other piggies and with her mammy, me!

well, apparently, my brother kept them wrong.
but no matter how many times they were bathed, and they're cage was cleaned.
it still smelt terrible.
