I've introduced my new male betta to my other fish by putting him in a trap net and leaving him there for a couple of days so he and the other fish can get acquainted! Today, I went to let him out into the main tank, and he completely freaked. He shot around the tank, then went down to hide in the vallis at the back. Luckily, I netted him and put him back into the net trap, but I'm not sure what to do from here.
Should I leave him in the net trap for another week so he calms down a little more, or should I buy a plastic, bigger breeding trap for a permanent home for him?
Any advice is much appreciated!
Thanks!
