Maybe a few more but we'll see

Gone for a kind of Dutch theme with a river running through it, hopefully it will look better once grown in as right now
the plants are melting so providing the ladder diffuser works as well as I think it will it should bounce back quite quickly.

I'll have some pic's up later on this eve as I'm off down the river today for some foraging for rock/driftwood and the lights comeon at 3PM.

Looking forward to seeing this one - does the ladder not take up a lot of tank space? You could look at an in line if it does - keeps things really nice and tidy.

I know mate, its only temp and kind of a test anyway, will grab an inline in a few weeks, they're great,I have one on my other scape.

Here's a few pic's and a vid of the ladder diffuser working, its ugly but working well as you can see from the drop checker. No where near a finished scape yet, the Blyxa melted massively and will sprout up covering the right hand side substrate and I have some Riccia stones to add around the banks yet too. Once grown in and bushed out a bit it should look like an overgrown Dutch river hopefully. You can see the other melt in the tank after the huge algae problem I had in it last time round but it will all bounce back.

Lol!!!!! Works really well. If I didn't have a black background I would be looking at filter pipes and wires!!

Yeah I agree the wall looks really good as a background, it's the way the light hits it making the tank look bigger in the reflection and it does look sort of blue.
Can't wait to see this grown in.
All your tanks are great Steve, jealous much... :]
