I just realized I sound like I'm defending the owner of "Cash" (which strikes me as a funny name, "Save Cash!"). To clarify, it is hard to get donations, their Parvo story seems accurate enough, but I still think the story is bunk.
I wonder if they have a cafepress style business, which makes on demand merchandise only upon ordering. Cafepress allows me to have my own line of merchendise without paying for it upfront. I tried to use it to generate a side revenue to help me pay my server bills, and it didn't work very well. I was able to pay the bill on my own, but it ate a big hole in my wallet, and left me with very little left for... you know, food and stuff. IF this guy is legit, he could easily be paying his puppy's bills and not able to afford paying his puppies bills, by either using a credit card or sacrificing in other areas of his life... but that scenerio only works if he's not buying huge vats of t-shirts for his "save (money)" campaign.
