Sandy And Frosty

as some of you might know that i was looking an older cat to adopt with some disappointing results. well here they are - sandy and frosty 2 6yrs old maine coons. they are brothers and there previous owner can't look after them due to ill health and it is my dream to own ( or be own by ) a maine coon one day. we have meet them and they are lovely and they are homing home with us next saturday! it will be their new home as well as us, as we are moving home next week. hope it will turn out ok.

this is frosty - as the owner couln't look after them properly, frosty under coat is wll matted. will take him to vet asap for a hair cut. don't suppose anyone know of a good pet hairdresser around essex?

oh they are beautiful. good on you for adopting them and good on the owner for recognising when they can't give the pet the care they deserve and giving them to someone who can.

They are both lovely - but woah - Sandy is just super stunning! and drop dead handsome

congrats! Bet you can't wait to get them home - hope they settle in well.

Btw. don't be too alarmed, but they'll probably have to give Frosty a bit of a "Poodle" look (in other words shave most of the hair off to get rid of those matts. They look pretty bad

Stunning, they are just gorgeous boys. I've always loved Maine Coons. They have the most gorgeous faces.

thanks guys. you are right i CAN'T wait!!!!! sandy is the playful one, i think he is going to be a mummy boy. i'm sure once frosty has all his fur off, he'll be abit more comfortable to play. apparantly they have a habit of sitting on your neck and purr like mad.

Sandy and Frosty are beautiful! I am so glad you are saving them! I did the same, I saved a maine coon that looked even worse than them!!! His pic is in my sig. But that is an after pic.
