I have just got new Arcadia Arc 35L for my fighter, and i wasnted to put in a sandy substrate (i am going for the oriental look). But i really want to know how to wash sand. Gravel is easy, but sand...how would one go about it?

Any advice is muchly appreciated!!!!!!

I always stir it up in a bucket of water then pour off the crud.Repeat this several times and job jobbed

Agree, Bucket and Hose. I push the hose into the sand and move it around. makes it alot quicker and just keep tipping out the dirty frothy water. untill nice and clear
