Sand Or Gravel? Advice? :) Taa

Whats better sand or gravel??
heres the fish list.
8 neon tetras
2 bristlenose plecos
5/6 assorted platys
3 peppered corys & 3 albino corys
3/4 honey gouramis
2 angelfish
pair of apistogramma cacatuoides (triple or double red)
pair of german blue rams
I know sand is better for corys and plecs, but it gets blown around, and not as easy for bacteria to grow in.

as you have corys then the best option is sand.

Going off the corys alone they prefer sand as gravel can damage their wiskers. (sorry can't remember the tech name!) I'd say sand looks cool!

+1 for sand as it`s less harsh on their barbels. I guess at the end of the day it`s your call though
