what is the scientific name for "susan"

this fish was bought by a friens at a chain lfs, so it should be rather common.

it measures around 2 inches (5 cms)

PS I have asked the local LFS workers and they are not sure, but they think it is a red devil... go figure.

My guess is Assortedus Africanus.

Is there a common name for that fish? I cannot find it on the books I have. Is that a cichlid? All help is appreciated in trying to identify this fish o' mine.

Sorry... I was being a little silly.

I meant it looks like something you'd find in an Assorted African tank at the petstore. In other words something difficult to identify and/or quite possibly a hybrid.

(Now it'll probably turn out to be a perfect wild-caught specimen of a rare cichlid... )
