Salt Water Newb Question

Does blue lighting count towards the wpg? Or is it like in freshwater where it just help the fish look prettier.

You dont need to look at wpg in marine really. Is this t5 you are looking at? Blue t5's do count as a high output as they give out a lot of par along with white bulbs. From my understanding actinic t5's has a lower par level. Hope that answers your question and helps.
