Salt Water Aquarium Parasites/worms

There's a worm inside my salt water aquarium (it's 1 inch long) and has short tentacles at one end. Is it a parasite or is it a worm? should i worry about it?

Without a photo it is difficult to say but from your description it sounds like a harmless peanut worm, a filter feeder and a good guy
