Hello,
I am interested in breeding Nerite snails and I know success rates are low but my snail has laid eggs before and today, I saw the male on top of the female which to me is an indicator that there will soon be eggs. I know that these eggs require brackish conditions to hatch so how much salt to add to an aquarium, enough for hatching? Would salt affect the cardinal tetras, rosy barbs and leopard danios? If I was to get a separate tank, what would be the minimal size but still optimal for breeding?
Hopefully, in a few years, I would have more nerites!
