Lol, yeah I put it in the realm of knowledge

I only skimmed this thread so forgive me if I missed this, but to the original poster... When you fill the hydrometer are you making sure it doesn't get bubbles stuck on it? Cause a bubble stuck anywheres on the hydrometer makes it horribly inaccurate

yeah mate i tapped the hydrometer a few times to remove any bubbles and it give the same reading 5 or 6 times over 2 days now so deff not the hydrometer. must be the temperature drop. going to get RO today so hopefully all sorted out now and dead critters so far.
