Hey guys, I'm getting conflicting reports on which salt to use to make brackish water. I have created a separate tank for my two fiddler crabs, Mary and Lazarus, and have read that they would prefer bracksih water over fresh.

Any brand of salt for a Marine aquarium (not tonic salt for FW tanks), just dont add as much as the box says, not too sure on how much you will need for fiddlers.

Thanks, that's what I thought (the chick at the LFS last night was full of it as I suspected). Sadly, none of the marine salt that they sold had "recipes" for brackish water, only "mix contects of bad in ## gallons of water". Anybody know a brand that I should check out or where I can find a "recipe"?

Bumping this up to see if anyone has help regarding a brackish water "recipe" or what brand of salt might come with one. Thanks!
