I have a small amount of salt in my aquarium to keep my fish less stressed. Would this be a problem for a planted tank.

I don't think it's a good idea to use salt in a planted tank. I don't think a little salt will do any harm, but maybe someone else can elaborate on this.

There is no need to add salt (sodium chloride) to an aquarium and it is a myth that it helps fish. Take a look at The Great Salt Myth. Freshwater plants hate salt so it is best not to have any present in the tank.
