Salinity

So I got this freshwater snowflake eel today, half the stuff I read says full fresh and the other half says brackish. I gather from this that people have had success on both sides. This eel is in with my NWs and I would like to add a little salt to the tank to try and find a happy medium. How much can my NWs tolerate and still continue to thrive? Thanks.

i throw in some salt in my convict tank every week... not too much, jus a big pinch i guess... they attack it but i donno if they like it or not lol
