Any suggestions of which sites to look at? I have glanced at ebay with no luck. I have an account there already. Glanced at Amazon. They have lids on there. They ranged about 45 dollars up. I have a 29 gallon All Glass Aquarium that would need a 30 inch long hood. It's oak trimmed the tank itself. I am kinda leaning towards a black lid though I don't know how attractive it might be. I think the oak trimming on the tank itself looks fine, but the lid looks like something out of a 60's movie in the oak trim.

Opinion?

Also looking for sites that sell aquarium supplies in general to possibly buy the lid from. Any recommendations?

This is my tank w/o lid...and stand. I may wait to get a stand last as I don't know if/when I move I'll even need it.

I bought it from a garage sale for $5 about a year ago. Came with a screen lid and doesn't appear used. I think it once housed a snake. Dog was placed in the tank at the time of picture taking to show a friend how large it is. So...ignore the terrier. :)

hi mate, i bought a hood from this site a few month back and it was delivered in super quick time and very well packaged! i'm guessing ur from america from the price you paid for your tank. this is a bristish site but u could always enquire about it......

Thanks for responses and link(s). Yes, I am a southern girl from the US. I didn't realize that this was primarily a British site until after I joined. The whole liters thing throws me off when people talk about tanks. XD

Theres quit a few members on here that are from the states including myself actually we got people from all over the world. But most of our members our from England.

Your tank is overstocked, that terrier hardly has room to turn around!

Big Al's is good, as is Dr. Foster & Smith. The advantage to Dr. Foster & Smith is that they sell supplies for other animals, buy that dog some treats for being so well behaved!

Any time I order from Dr Foster & Smith I have to tell my wife, she always adds on some stuff for our dogs. Anything I buy for fish ends up costing me at least double.

It is a bit of a tight squeeze...

I think we actually get Foster and Smith magazines mailed to us...
