I have tested my ammonia again and I can't tell what the results are so I have attached a picture.
The tube on the right is tap water and the tube on the left is the tank water.
I would love some help to identify wether it's 0 or 0.25ppm from Tom

I can't really tell you (though the one in the 1st photo on the right (Aquarium water)looks ever so slightly greener but so does the one on the right on the second photo but you say that this time it's the tap water on right, You need to see the surfaces of the liquid in the tubes to be in the same light (there is every chance that you could have more ammonia in your tap water, I think water authorities in the UK are allowed to let water with ammonia at 0.5ppm get to our homes, your filter could process this out)

On the second photo I got it the wrong way round the tube on the left is tap water and the tube on the right is aquarium water and I have added another photo of the aquarium water from a different view and if you had to say the ammonia level what would you say it was from Tom

That's good I though I was going to have to do a water change tomorrow but I'm glad that it's zero and I'm also glad that so far none of my fish have died whilst changing this tank. Also I was advised not to feed the fish two days before I changed the water and everything over now that I have changed it all over can I feed them again or should I just wait a day to let the filter adjust from Tom

Cool that's great I can condition my kribs up again and hope they have a successful spawning and now I just need to decorate it as it does not look good from Tom

Don't overfeed them, but fed fish can handle ammonia better than fasting fish.

Ok thanks and do you think it would be better if I rotated the filter so that the spray bar was facing down the length of the tank rather than the width or does it not really matter and is just personal preference from Tom

get the spray bar nearer the surface by raising the filter try and cause some disturbance to the surface

Won't that make it louder and does it need to come out the water or just sit just below it and would it be better to rotate it so that the filter pushes the water length ways rather than width ways from Tom

no discernible difference in orientation width against length, see how strong the flow is and how your fish react, I'm not saying position the spray bar above the surface that will be very noisy compared to being totally submerged as you have it now just bring it close enough to disturb the surface a slight ripple is all that's required to get extra oxygen into the water this will also aide the filtration process as well as benefiting your fish

Ok thanks for that i think I will leave it facing the way it is at the minute and I use to have an air pump in with the fish and am I right in thinking that
1. I don't need an air pump
2 if I move the filter closer to the top of the water the spray bar and ripples on the water will do the same job as an air pump
