So Rye refuses to eat. He can see the food fine but he just doesn't want it. I've tried the pellets, frozen bloodworms, and a pea. Usually he loves the peas but now he won't even take them :grr:
Water stats are fine because I did a water change 2 days ago. He's swimming fine. No spots or fungus looking things. He doesn't look constipated.
He hasn't ate since yesterday morning. Will he be fine like that? How long is ok for him not to eat? What can I do for him?
He has stress coat in the water and blackwater extract.

He'll be fine for several days without eating.
But, fish LIVE to eat. It is basically the only thing they really LOVE to do that the get to do on a daily basis, ya know? :)
So there must be a reason why he's not eating.
Have you moved anything near his tank that wasn't there before? Or away from his tank? Any girlies in his presence? Temp change? Anything?

That's the thing that baffles me. Everything is in the same place. No girls around him. Same temp all the time. I was thinking I blinded him with the light but I know he can see me. Everytime I go near the tank he hides -_-

Hmm...
I wonder if something scared him.
Like a loud noise or someone bumping his tank - is that possible?

Do you have a new plant? Are you wearing a bright fuschia fur sweater? lol
It's odd what can scare them...

Maybe...my cousin was over yesterday...maybe they did something to him. Or my brother did something to him. He's not one to tap on the glass but I have seen him put things in the tank :sly: They are pretty loud when they're together. I don't even remember if he was here yesterday. I have such a bad memory.

No new plants though.

If he looks otherwise quite healthy and happy, then don't worry about him not eating too much. Continue to offer him food often and try to figure out what caused him to stop, but he can easily go more than a week without suffering any ill effects from not eating.
