Rusty Pleco

My rusty pleco Im starting to miss already I had to get shot of him though. Was going to get to big for my tank at some stage and was being to aggressive to everything... Though if I had bigger tank I probaly would of kept him

When I first try to take pic of him he didnt like it but after a while he got use to it lol... Also their is is very prickly which kinda hurt at first too. Its surprising the amount of streght they have behide them for a small creature

Nice looking fish. When I worked at the SPCA every week I fell in love with a new dog. My mom Would tell me there will always be another dog that needs your help you can't save them all.

So what I'm trying to say is Some day you will get a large tank and then you can save a rusty pleco in need. Or buy another and give it a good home. So don't be sad you did the right thing there will always be another.

I feel for you, I am going to have to re-home a 8" common. I took it on to save it from being flushed, but I have two 16" commons in the same tank. I know they shouldnt all be in the same tank, but I couldnt see a fish flushed.

I cant stand flushing dead fish let alone a alive and healthy one. I must admit you done a good save. But its sad to see animals go that you have grown too. I would take the pleco of you but I would back to sqaure one lol... Sorry I couldnt

Lovely of you to sort of offer lol, but I would only let her go to someone with a big enough tank. This is her hiding under her big pal lol

This is the other one in the same tank!!! I need my bigger tank up and running soon before they grow anymore lol.

yeah they are weve been looking into one latley, marie says hows your turtle lol we have got a false male map and a female mississippi map we rescued it from uttoxeter on sat they was dumped outside a school.

Rocky is absolutley fine now, she had another course of antibiotics as a precaution and she is eating fantastic. The vet is stunned at her recovery considering her age.

Makes me sick people dumping turtles. I have a missippi map male, he is too little to go in with the girls (plus I dont want babies!!!) I am keeping an eye out for another little male as a companion for him when he gets moved to a bigger tank.

ive got a thread up calle new pics of fish i have rescued have a look there is some pics of them in there . marie is happy for you and says becarefull with two male maps as they will fight for dominance quite badly
