My little guy seems to be doing fantastic! I really thought he was a goner for sure! I think he was so undernourished when I got him, he looked awful but he's filling out now. He's hanging with the school and not sleeping in weeds anymore. I wish I could have taken photos of before and after...he was like an inner tube that had all the air sucked out and now he's looking healthy the way he should. I've named him spunky because he fought hard to stay alive. Thanks for all the help getting this little guy back on his....fins!

Yay!  That's a good read, I hope he continues to do well.
 
Just a side... it is a personal thing for many fish keepers... but maybe don't support the selling of modified fish in the future... a boycott might lead to these fragile fish not being breed.

Amen to that! I wouldn't have bought these had I known! I feel bad for the little fella's though, somebody's gotta take care of them. It makes me mad that mankind isn't satisfied with screwing his self up...he has to mess with nature as well! I've always had a soft spot for the animals that aren't the strongest or the prettiest. My best friend was the last puppy left at the pet store, he was so huge in the window. I don't understand why no one wanted him he's turned out to be one of the greatest dogs I've ever had. I wish people would be more responsible with their pets and realize they have feelings and emotions like all of Gods creation.
