I’ve noticed this before, that the egg heavy females, because of their rotund shape, reflect a lot more light, and with as shaded as my tank is by overhead plants, it’s almost as if they are self lighting… I expect it draws the attention of the boys…

Just after this was taken, this mornings chase began… the males, like a cat with a laser… chase her around, until she glows no more…

Those are the rummys with the scale mutation, right? I remember when you got them, they were new to me, but now, I see them around. It may not be how they look in the morning in nature, without the linebreeding.
