Hi FM :)

They are lucky little fish to have found a home in one of your tanks!

i think they are the prettiest of all the tetras! they look great against the green of plants and always seem to shoal quite tightly, well in the shop they do!

Could it be?!?!?!? A non cichlid photo from freshmike?!?!?!?!?!??!?!!??!?!

"Nice" , "AND A KRIB TO BOOT" What kind of camera ? do you use the flash ?do you turn the room lights off ? I know , I ask to many questions , but I have taken some real crappy pictures , and you take such good ones: :kewlpics:

This picture is with no flash, room lights off and it's a kodak dx6490. :D

:kewlpics: awesome photo......and do you use the automatic or manual settings on the camera......I have problems with no flash getting pics of the faster moving fish

I have just started playing around with the settings.....
So far, it seems that the best pics are at 400 ISO, once I go to 800 ISO, the camera automatically drops the quality to Good Rather than Best.

Although I have not tried it on 800 yet, I am sure the quality drop would be quite minimal, just have not gone there yet!!! SO MANY SETTINGS!!! :S

Great picks FM, Rummies are one of my favourite Tetras, and as you say they're near impossible to photograph. :)

Thanks for the photo answers ! I'll do my best , I think I'am a wee bit technologicaly challenged [ and slightly illiterate ]. I'll get my 12 year old son to take some pics for me and have him add them to members pics .Until I'm big enough to do it myself .>

They are super crazy to photo!!! "let's go this way!!! No, let's go that way....zoooooooom....hard right!"

Believe me, I have been trying to get a better picture and just can't!

Hey FM!! I just got some new fish last night for my 55gal...and among them were 4 Rummy nose. Beautiful fish, i am gonna get more once i get the chance. Sucked though, i get back to the tank and before i can even add water to start acclimatizing them one of the fish is already dead. Stupid pet store guy BREATHED into the bag instead of filling it up with oxygen. Oh well, i still have three that are kicking!! Very kewl. They do seem a little sensitive to water parameters...could you tell me a little more about them?
LOVE the pics!!
