hi
i was thinking of getting a betta but realised about how much i want a red tail black shark! if i had to choose it would be....
rbbtstsrbtbessbtea(that means i can't decide!lol)
can they go in a tank together?
bear in mind that bettas are at the top and rtbs are at the bottom. ;)
thanks  :)

it's not recommended that you have an rtbs with long finned fish.... i can only see disaster from putting an rtbs with a betta....

A definite no-go with a male betta, the betta's fins would be torn apart. On the other hand, you could buy short-finned wild bettas, or even captive born female bettas.

thanks guys!!!
i'll stick with something like danios.
also whilst i'm here can rams go with them?
thanks

david

Assuming you mean Microgeophagus ramirezi, then yes, they will be fine with your shark.
