Oh and pippa was beautiful, you could almost hear harry thinking 'wow...' :D

I swear I saw some raised eyebrows from him at one point when he looked at her. I remember seeing them together following will n kate out of the abbey and thinking 'Hmm... I could see that working' lol.

Hahahaha my OH was like 'and he's got his eyes on Pippa..'

Strange that she wore white though, it was said to have been on the rules that noone could wear white. I suppose because they're so close there was no chance of Pippa showing Kate up!

Ahh she's reportedly in a relationship with someone called Alex Loudon, a cricketer. Gutted Harry!

I give it a year lol, no seriously I thought it was great, the glance back as they walked in off the balcony when she smiled will go down in history I reckon.

Why don't the moaners stop moaning, It was a wedding,
and to say that the money could have been spent better elsewhere.
HOW MUCH DO THEY CONTRIBUTE TO CHARITY EVERY YEAR.
One member is correct, the monarchy generate a great deal of money, they patronise some great charities that promote people to subscribe.
Enjoy the wedding for what it was. (Excellent)
Good Luck to the Happy Couple.
BTW Catherine's sister Pippa is gorgeous.
BigC

+1. Totally agree with you mate on that score. I ended up watching the entire thing even tho I did'nt plan to.
To all the moaners tho, the Royal family is the main thing that makes this country's people proud to be british!
After all everything else in this country has gone to pot with immigration, rise in crime and greedy bankers and politicians it was nice to have such a lovely, patriotic occasion and its also nice to know that the monarchy is secured for the future with a future king and queen on the way, and what lovely people they both are.
I hope they're both very happy together and wish them all the best for the future.
I am happy to think that my paid taxes went towards that awesome wedding!

By the way!.......Kate's sister is FIIIIIIIIIIIIIITTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT! I noticed prince harry eyeing her up! lol

:good: For a change... I was working and actually glad to be!! It waslovely and quiet, only a few idiots wanting to keep 15 common goldfish in their 100L tank that got told to skidaddle!

Im not against the wedding and royalty and all that, it just does nothing for me, i bet they would have had a far nicer wedding without the world and its mother watching!

They might have a lot of privalages but tbh i would rather NOT have those privalege than be them, constantly harassed by the public and the press because it is 'our' right to harass them and know their every move. Im surprised more of them dont end up topping themselve with the harrassment they get.

That said, i was mortified listening to a radio station interview a week ago with someone saying loudly "it is OUR right to protest against the monarchy in black balaclavas if we want!"...

Thats just disgracefull... I dont give a monkeys whotsit if their is a wedding on or not, good luck, i hope they had a fantastic day and enjoyed it and so on... but i dont need it to intrude on my life. But to protest and some strangers wedding in a balaclava... i'll never understand why people even consider it...

Yes... they are a financial drain on the country at times but they make up for it, so many people from other countries flocked to see the wedding too... not to mention that i reckon a huge ammount of that 'financial drain' was on security to protect them from the people of this country who have no sense of decency

That said, i had fun doing a waterchange/gravel clean/cropping and rearranging plants in heavily planted tank and then on to marines.... :good:

I happened to glance on the 'official' wedding website earlier. They've set up a wedding charity fund for those wanting to give wedding gifts. There are 6 charities/projects that can be donated to.

I'm all for 'freedom of speech' as much as the next person. But I totally agree with you MBOU. People who want to protest forget that the royals are actually real people. Would they think it was ok to spoil anyone elses wedding and in essense sabotage the big day? (Not that they got a chance too due to the sheer number of police! 55 arrests at last count lol)

yeh I totally agree with that too. Actually the thing I was thinking through it all was, it's a lovely day/service/dress etc but what a shame they can't just share it with the people they wanted to instead of random heads of other countries, charity boffs, journalists and the world and his dog who just have to know. I'd have been mortified. As it was I was mortified when the photographer decided to bring her daughter to our wedding, who also brought her boyfriend, and then they both tagged along for the meal as well! I couldn't believe the cheek. I wish them all the best, and I really hope they are happy, and that it lasts longer that Charles and Diana's marriage did, but that's the limit of my interest really. I don't care who made her dress, or whether the PM wore top hat and tails, or what colour the Queen's hat was, because it's nowt to do with me! I do think it's a shame that people felt the need to "exercise their right to free speech" in the ways that they did, as has been said - the Royal Family are people first.

And my kids are now looking forward to seeing Buckingham Palace in the summer half term even more than they were before! :D
