I was doing track maintenance yesterday and I noticed my vallisneria had a leaf on it with 3 white dots. Didn’t make much of it.
Now, this morning, I noticed my Anubias has them too. What could these be?
Sorry for the poor lighting, the lights haven’t come on yet this morning.

Looks like snail eggs

Thank you! I thought maybe snails!
I do have some pest snails, so if they aren’t nerite, can they be removed if I just rub them off the leaf? I know nerite won’t hatch in freshwater.

If they are nerite eggs it will be difficult to remove them from a leaf. I have to use a metal scraper to get them off glass and when they are on wood I usually end up removing the surface off the wood as well.

Pest snails (the pond/bladder ones and the tiny ramshorn snails) usually lay eggs in jelly. Your photos show the same as my nerite eggs.
