Any chance of a larger photo?

I would add a tall piece of Mopane wood in one of the corners, pointing it towards the other side of the tank, and some plants around it, probably tall plants behind it, and shorter plants going to the other side of the tank and to the front.

Hi KittyKat

Thanks for the reply, the upload would only accept 100K and nothing bigger then that. The real size was 3MB

Mopane wood and small & Tall Plants ummm sounds good. I will be heading to my local store this weekend with Birthday cash to play with. All been well I will find something good

Thanks

Agree with KittyKat, some wood would definitely make it look good

Hmm, in that case the only thing you could do is upload it elsewhere and link to it.

If you have never kept plants before, then be careful to not get demanding ones as they are quite likely to die off. Probably anything undemanding would do ok, but do not expect all of them to work with your tank: www.tropica.com/en/plants/difficulty/easy.aspx
If you want some more interesting plants, then try looking on the internet as not all LFS have a good selection. Also worth looking on here too, as some people, like me, regularly offer plants for sale on here.

From what i can see it actually looks quite good.

Black background, some nice wood of some sort and some easy going plants suck as Anubias, Cryptocoryne, Java Fern and Vallis for the back should go well and will transform the whole tank.

The plant under the filter looks to be non aquatic mate. Black background for sure.

If you click on the share icon on Flickr you can copy and paste the link and it will show the picture.

Yeah. Do you have a shop called 'The Range' nearby? They sell Mopani very cheaply indeed. £1.99 a piece. Plant the Vallis towards the back, Java Fern onto the Mopani and then some Crypts towards the front. You may want to consider some rocks aswell to break the scene up.

A plain black background gives the impression that it is going into darkness, it makes the fish feel safer and shows them off far better than a patterned one.

I am sure we have the Range, so they will sell that type off Wood.......looking at your infromation cannot wait for the weekend to try this out.

When I said Mopane wood, I actually meant red moor wood >.< This is the sort of piece I was imagining: http://100sklepow.pl/storage/aquarium-designer/productgallery/opt_133026702511306872131714011460.jpg
