Roma 90 Cabinet With Ex700? How Do I Fit The Spray Bar Too?

hey just wondering if anyone has a roma 90 original stand that they could help me out on a little issue i'm having..

what it is ,is i have a tetra tec ex700 filter running on my roma 90 and i have just purchased a standard cabinet that was sold with this tank but i haven't collected the cabinet yet i was just wondering if anyone knows wether it is possible to fit my filter into the cabinet in any way as it comes or if it would re realitively easy to modify the cabinet to fit it in?

And also i was wondering if anyone could give me a clue on how to fit the spray bar to these tanks because of the huge lip of the plastic lid supports from the back wall of the tank?... this should be the same with all fluval roma tanks of the similar model..

Dont you just take a hacksaw to the parts where the filter pipes sit and snap out a square instead of a half circle? The template is already there in the plastic to do this.

yeah i allready did that bit its just that from it dropping through that cutout gap i then cant figure how to attach my spray bar to the rear length of the tank due to the recess from where the pipe comes into the tank to the glass

if you or anyone has one set up a picture of the spray bar area would be great

They supply you with black suckers with long stand off clips, thats how mine are fixed on my EX1200

never mind that problem its now just emptied 12l of water all over my floor ...

... any ideas why its leaking all over where the clamps sit?

Dont really know what you mean by clamps, have you connected it all correctly?

the clamps on the canister ...i think i might know what it is
although car mechanics isnt anything like this i put it down to the pair of o rings on the connector branch on top of the lid and there leaking water into the motor housing.....? just a thought

ebay one of those moments where u just want to drowned the person who sold u it in your fishtank

carpet soaked , me soaked,about 12 towels soaked,fishtank nearly half empty, filter running backwards on the inlet outlet pipe thing ....
..... arghhh should have just bought a new un could do with someone setting it up for me cause frankly i'm so close to giving in...

it was the coming from the motor casing ..i guessed wrong ... the silly primer pump thing has a crack in the plastic casing

fixed the rest now just waiting to see what the dude who sold me it is gonna do about it ...
... if nothing it looks like pulling a return scam on some were that stocks them for a part swap
