I have a 55 gallon tank with
2 needlenose gar (both about 6 inces long)
2 white mollies
1 cory
2 ?? catfish
5 plecos
and 3 other fish that I don't know what they are they kinda look like they have flames on their fins and tail.
Anyways, I Was thinking about changing the rocks in the bottom(gravel) I have a blue color right now and I really want to go with a more natural looking gravel. How do I go about doing this?? Will I need to take all the fish out?
Oh, one more question. Do you think I should get a seperate tank for the needle nose gars. They are getting pretty big and I want them to be comfortable and not eat all my other fish(which they haven't started doing yet) If I should get a seperate tank, how big of one should I get and what fish would be ok with them? They eat like crazy already! I already have to get a seperate tank just for the feeders. They ate 15 rosy reds within 20 hours. I am anxious to see these babys at there full size. yikes!
