Hi
I recently acquired a rocio ocotal and i will be doing updates on him here to give you good folks an idea on them.
I got the little fella about 2 weeks ago form a lad called Dave whom lives in widnes. After the long journey home we put him in are 10 gallon with some guppies, palties, angles and a goldfish ( it wasn't as over stocked as it sounds and there all in a 40g now) well within a few minutes he had gone into predator mode and tried to hunt down the goldfish whom had severe ammonia burns (it wasn't me)
so we decided he had to go into his to be home, now so of he went to the 55 gallon of witch resided a spanner barb, jewel cichlid, bumble bee and a f1 vieja zonatum ( he came from widnes too).Once he was acclimated we put him in and he soon swam behind the filter and failed to leave for 4 days, well he eventually cam out and he's bumbling about the tank, more to come.

sorry about the picture quality but he sticks to the back of the tank. He is still showing his juvenile colors but he's a right little charchter , always getting stuck into things or messing about, thanks for the interest

he's very timid and is not as active as a jd when put the food him i have to hand feed him at the bottom,i belive that maybe from the 8 inch vieja i have.He may feel a little threatened by his size.

well, the little fella had his fist go at live blood worms today and he slurped them up like there was no tomorrow. He has been having trouble with the vieja and bumble so i'm afraid there going to have to go ! here is a quick little update of him he seems to have grown a few millimeters

He changes color willy nilly and his spots are more blue than on this picture, we have named him Chewbacca
