How feasable is this (they do this out in the country a lot over here):

Take a large tub, run one of the downspouts from your roof into the tub, then plumb from the tub to the RO unit with a boost pump. Or if you have a creek, river, pond. etc. nearby pump out of it.

Just run some tests on the water first and find out if the rain or the river is a better source to work from.
