Seen a few articles where they say put the pump after the 1st 1/5 micron filter and before the main Carbon filters? I used to have it just before the RO after all the Carbons. The reason they give is to sop the Carbon fines from entering the pump. I would put the pump just before the RO but have a 1 micron filter just before it.
