little myst passed away today. i only had her since september, a shorter time then most of my bettas. i am not sure what killed her.
she was a charming little betta and i am sorry i could not save her. rip peice little one

im sorry you lost her, you took good care of her and the fact is most store bought bettas are already older and have been threw hell before you get them. that takes years off their lives, and even if they look smaller or younger when you buy them, unless you get them from a good breeder you really have no idea of the true age. some bettas are just built smaller, some get stunted from bad conditions growing up.
