Sadly we lost our little copper girl Misty yesterday to the dreaded Dropsy. She went so quickly with hardly any warning at all. She was a sweet little girl and we still have 25 of her babies, so I will be picking a special little girl out for myself.

It's a symptom of disease which causes them to bloat up and the scales stick out (like pine cones). In most cases it is fatal

Storm is still with us on day two......she's a real little fighter. It's looking good so far and hopefully she will survive
