Once again, going to have to apologise for using a poor camera and having poor photography skills! When I've finally got my background sorted (Work in progress!) and photoshop I can get around the bad photography! Bit of a shame as the pictures dont do the fish justice, but you still get the point!
First up are some pictures of my Julii. I've always seen Cory at the LFS and always liked them but never really thought they were as good as people made them out to be. This theory of mine soon stopped as soon as they got a bit of confidence in the tank. Theyre constantly zooming up and down the tank, banging into each other, playing with the filter outlet etc. Really are amazing little fish and probably my favourate in there so far. Anyway - pics!
Next we go onto my Boesemani Rainbowfish. Once again, these are really nice fish and for their current size, very colourful. When you see them at a normal LFS they are normally quite drab and never as colourful as the fully mature ones are, well....these ones almost are. The blue hasn't fully come out of them yet but I'm confident that overtime they are going to look great. These have proven to be an absolute nightmare to get a half decent pic of as they are not slow movers once they get going. I've scrapped loads of pics so far and have only managed to get one semi decent pic. As with teh fish keeping though, its all a learning curve.
Next up is my Angels and this is where my photography really cant do the shape and colours of these fish the justice I was talking about. I think that once they grow on a bit they are going to be superb additions to the tank as they are normally the first things that take your eye when you look at it. I am going to check what was special about them next time I see the person I got them off again.
Sadly, after catching my female Krib in a cave within my lump of bogwood and the male outside guarding, I have not seen the male for a few days now. I've had a couple of ppl say that theres a chance that he is looking after the eggs but I really am starting to fear the worst now. Would be just my luck though if I did get them that close to spawning just for the female to turn round and butcher the fish to death. No body anywhere yet though and I have checked inside my filter housing with no luck so I suppose there is some hope still.
