Rio 180 Cabinet Modification?

Hi, as some may know (maybe the person who sold it to me who is on the forum) I have recently got a juwel cabinet for my Rio 180.

It is beautiful, I love it, very happy.

However...

My Tetratec 1200 wont fit in the cupboards. Oh no

But, it will fit in the middle shelved section, but there is no way of getting the hoses out, as the back is sealed.

Do you think I could drill out holes in either the back section or the sides to make way for the hoses or would it weaken it?

I suppose I could reinforce the drilled section somehow? any thoughts?

Drilling will be fine. its the uprights that hold the weight while the back panel prevents is rocking left to right etc. GOGOGO
