What would you recommend as being the best tank for breeding cories? What size, decor, filtration, and so on? We've had success with our pandas, and are hoping to breed the sterbai too. As well as those black cories once you've handed them over

as for the tank size... it depends on how many your planning on having in it i guess. i do ok with the ones i got because i do daily changes on the tanks. ideally i would like them in a 24" planted tank with loads of rocky hiding places for them. but thats not practical for breeding (or thats my way of thinking anyway).

MY ideal tank would be 24" with an inch of sand, some plastic plants and a few caves.

Thanks for the tank info. Our pandas were at it again last night. And when I lifted the wood with java moss out to retrieve eggs, I found some fry from another spawn under the log. So got 8 eggs and 3 fry .

Good luck with your breeding setup. Hope you end up with MILLIONS of baby cories.

Cory only community tanks are great fun. I hardly even pay attention to the top of the tank anymore since all the fish are doing interesting things down at the bottom.

hi Carmen. yeah they have settled in well. Lost one of the skunks the day after i got them, but they have all been fine since. I have now moved my peppers out of the breeding tank as they had kinda stopped spawning, so giving them a rest. However, fear not, for they have been replaced with the Adolofoi and Sterbai
