Rid Ick....ick Attack By Kordon Safe ? Also Maracyn

Anyone use this product and know if it would be safe with my Pleco and Pictus Cat ? It shows the ingredients on the bottom of the page.

malachite and formaldehyde tend to be the active ingredients in many whitespot meds that advise you to only use half doses

I had previously dosed with Coppersafe and I think (not sure), it affected my Pleco. I have removed that and the fish are still flicking.

I also picked Maracyn as I suspect possible Columnaris. Wondering if I can use them together or should I treat one first, and which one first ? Thanks

Treat with salt and high temperatures for 10 days. Medicine will either kill the ick or the fish whichever dies first. Also you will need to treat the whole tank.
I treated ick successfully with salt and high temperatures. The plants will most likely not make it.

I would treat for columnaris ASAP as this is going to be the real killer, which if left could wipe out the tank and lead to other issues like septicemia etc.

I would use the maracyn first to combat the Columnaris
and gradually increase the temp to 30C, increase aeration and keep the tank lights to a minimum, to minimise the effects of ick
