thanx all, yeh just read an article in an 'online magazine' and thought what the heck.

day 2 29-8-08

nitrate 0.1 ppm
phosphate just over 0.25 but not near 0.5 according to my salifert colour card.
0.4 mL dosed

again i'll sort some pics out soon!

its a powder brown a lil peeved bout it really they are also known as gold rim tangs, if u compare it to my previous one u will notice that it is missing its gold rim lol, the lfs had its displaylights turned off when i bought it... lol nm

Strangely, I think the aiptasia make it look better.

well each to there own lol i hate em ive tried joes juice and peppermint shrimps neither have worked. thanx!

I think it looks more like a white cheek tang. Acanthurus nigricans. How long have you had it?

well the vodka didnt work, phos at 1ppm now - eek just bought a litre of roawphos £40 - eek

white cheek tang is also known as a powder brown Acanthurus japonicus is the goldrim. i think or other way around these two fish have been mistook and misnamed for so long i cant even remember which way round they are!
